Have a Little Faith

The title to the beautiful song by John Hiatt : “Have a little faith in me” also contains the key to manifesting our greatest desires. Listen here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aYxMuLb3h8

Often we do not see what we want manifest in our lives even though we can visualise want we want and we support it affirmatively by positive statements of intent. These things alone are not enough. They are not enough because we all have firmly held beliefs which prevent us from developing the conviction needed to make our dreams come true. It is that conviction or faith which is the missing ingredient in the manifestation formula.

Also because we live in a physical world dominated by space and time the manifestation of our desires does not occur the instant that we expect. We become disillusioned when this delay occurs and instead of keeping the faith and trusting in the universal process of manifestation we allow doubts to creep in and affect our focus. Before we know where we are our focus shifts to not having our desires fulfilled and thats exactly what happens. Manifestation occurs but does not produce the result that we want.

Let’s take a step back for a moment and remind ourselves about the universal responsive energy web that underpins the whole of existence. The ONE creative consciousness that is this web and which created the known universe also dwells within us. It is our creative consciousness that also weaves and directs the energy web. We do this constantly with our thoughts. A thought held with sufficient conviction will manifest in physical reality. A thought which is not held with conviction will dissipate. This is probably just as well because if every thought we ever had manifested in reality the world would be in utter chaos.

The idea of faith has been the foundation of many world religions and with good reason. It is a faith based on a recognition that we have as our birthright have unlimited power available to us to live lives full of love, peace and happiness. It is this birthright which has been kept hidden from us by those who seek power over others at all costs. There has been a historical conspiracy between Kings, Queens, dictators, religious leaders, governments and financial institutions to keep humanity from remembering and embracing its true power. That is why the majority of the world’s population live desperately small lives focussed on survival. We have been brainwashed to believe that is all that we can expect from life.

Life does not have to continue to be this way. If we but have a little faith in ourselves and our inherent power to do good not only for ourselves but for others as well we can all “meet with success in uncommon hours”.
