Inspirational Quotes

“Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone” – Robert Allen

You can think of your comfort zone as a form of self-imprisonment. It comprises all your rules and beliefs about life (your territory). There is an old story about an elephant that illustrates this point – a circus elephant is trained from a young age to accept the confines of a short rope tether. While the baby elephant will try to break the rope it can’t and eventually it gives up trying to. Even when the elephant is a fully grown 3- 5 ton animal it still doesn’t try to break the rope even though it could easily do that now!

The message is don’t let historical self-imposed limitations prevent you from exploring new territory!
